1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and GMR Jungle Safaris ("we," "us" or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our services and website.

2. Bookings and Reservations

All bookings are subject to availability. When you submit an Expedition Brief or booking request, you are making an offer to purchase a safari package. The contract between us is only formed when we send you a formal confirmation invoice and receive your initial deposit.

• A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking.
• The full balance must be paid no later than 60 days prior to your date of travel.
• Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of your booking.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to cover cancellation fees. Our standard cancellation policy is as follows:

• More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit.
• 30 to 60 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost.
• Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the total tour cost.
• Please note that certain services, such as Gorilla or Chimpanzee trekking permits, are non-refundable once purchased.

4. Alterations to Itineraries

While we strive to provide the exact itinerary as confirmed, we reserve the right to make changes when necessary due to weather, road conditions, wildlife movements, or other operational requirements. If a significant change must be made, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.

5. Medical and Health

It is your responsibility to ensure you are medically fit to travel and participate in all activities. You must consult your physician regarding necessary vaccinations, including Yellow Fever and Malaria prophylactics, prior to travel.

6. Liability

GMR Jungle Safaris accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur during the safari, except where caused by our direct negligence. Wildlife encounters carry inherent risks, and all guests are required to follow the strict instructions of their guides at all times.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Ugandan courts.
