Day 3: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area is famous for its rich wildlife concentrations and offers excellent chances of spotting wildlife. Queen Elizabeth National Park's diverse mosaic of ecosystems—from golden savannah plains and dense tropical forests to volcanic craters and papyrus swamps—supports over 95 mammal species and an impressive avian checklist of more than 600 species. The park hosts massive populations of animals, including Big cats ( Lions and leopards), over 2,500 African elephants and 10,000 buffaloes and antelopes, such as Uganda kob, Defassa waterbuck, bushbuck, and the striking topi. After the game drive return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel, one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Uganda. The channel connects Lake George and Lake Edward and attracts large numbers of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and countless bird species along the shores.

Day 5:

Day 5:
After breakfast, depart with your packed lunch to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking procedures and safety precautions. The trek through Bwindi Forest is both adventurous and rewarding. The forest is rich with towering trees, thick vegetation, birds, butterflies, and other primates, creating an authentic jungle atmosphere. Depending on the location of the gorilla family, the trek can take anywhere from one to several hours as guides and trackers follow fresh signs left behind by the gorillas. The moment of encountering the gorillas is unforgettable. Standing only a few meters away from a massive silverback gorilla, watching mothers care for their babies, and seeing young gorillas play in the forest creates an emotional connection unlike any other safari experience. You are allowed one magical hour with the gorillas once they are located. During this time, you can quietly observe their behaviors, take photographs, and appreciate the intelligence and gentle nature of these endangered primates. The gorillas’ human-like expressions and social interactions make the experience deeply moving and unforgettable. After this experience, return to the starting point for your certificate and transfer to another destination - Lake Bunyonyi for an afternoon boat trip and evening relaxation.
