After an early breakfast, depart Kampala or Entebbe and embark on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy spectacular views of Uganda's countryside, tea plantations, rolling hills, and local communities along the way. Arrive at the park in time for lunch before proceeding for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This famous waterway connects Lake George and Lake Edward and boasts one of the highest concentrations of hippos in Africa. During the cruise, you may spot hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, and a remarkable variety of bird species along the shoreline. After the cruise, transfer to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Rise early for a half-day game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, one of the park's premier wildlife viewing areas. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, hyenas, and other wildlife species that roam the savannah. After the game drive, return to the lodge for an early lunch before departing for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. En route, pass through the Ishasha Sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions, offering a chance to spot these unique predators resting in fig trees. Arrive in Bwindi in the evening, check into your lodge, and relax as you prepare for the next day's gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on the highlight of your safari—mountain gorilla trekking. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, trek through the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once located, spend one unforgettable hour observing these magnificent primates in their natural habitat as they feed, play, groom, and interact. This extraordinary wildlife encounter is often described as one of Africa's most rewarding experiences. After the trek, receive your gorilla trekking certificate and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, often referred to as the "Switzerland of Africa" due to its stunning terraced hills and scenic islands. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Bunyonyi before checking out and beginning your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Travel through the picturesque Kigezi Highlands and make a stop at the Equator for photography, souvenir shopping, and lunch. Continue to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the late afternoon or evening, marking the end of your unforgettable Uganda wildlife and gorilla safari.
