4 -Day Explore Kidepo Valley National Park

Our company guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala and start off your drive to one of Uganda's most outstanding National Parks, your 10-hour drive will allow you to see Uganda’s beautiful and changing landscape. You will enjoy lunch en-route before proceeding to Gulu City and check-in at your hotel in the evening for your dinner and overnight.

Start your day with an early breakfast at your lodge, then head out for a game drive at the Narus Valley. Every game drive is unique with its own experience and you will see the park come alive with wildlife. An early morning game drive is a great way to catch a glimpse of most wildlife including predators like lions, and leopards as they are more active during the cooler hours of the day and in untouched wilderness. In the afternoon, you will be taken to visit the Karamojong people. The Karamojong are nomadic pastoralists who live in unique houses called manyatas that are designed to be temporary. You will learn about their way of life and be entertained with their traditional songs and dances.

This third day begins with breakfast before starting off your guided nature walk or hiking trail to explore the park on foot and see the smaller details of the park. You will also explore the park's diverse landscapes, including savanna plains, hills and valleys. In the afternoon head out for another exciting game drive in the Kidepo Valley where you will spot high concentration of wildlife that is hardly found elsewhere in Uganda. You will pass through the Narus Valley again on your way to the Kidepo Valley, where you will be amazed by large herds of buffaloes that you have never seen elsewhere before. You will see the famous Hot springs in Kidepo and get to know how they relate to the local/indigenous communities. Thereafter return to the hotel for dinner.

After your morning breakfast, you will start off your journey back to Kampala. You will have stop over along the journey for and stretching your legs and thereafter proceed to Kampala for the next item on your agenda. End of the tour
