2-Day Safari to Lake Mburo National Park

Early Morning Departure Leave Kampala at 6:30 AM and drive west through Uganda’s rolling countryside. Along the way, you’ll pass colorful roadside markets and small towns. Optional stopover at the Equator for photos and a quick coffee. Mid-Morning: Arrive at the Hotel and check in After check in, we head out inside the park for your first game drive. Keep your eyes open for zebras, impalas, elands, warthogs, waterbucks, giraffes, and the occasional leopard. The park is known for its beautiful acacia-dotted savannah and birdlife. Thereafter we return for lunch! Lunch at the Lodge Lunch at (Hyena Hills or Eagles Nest) overlooking the plains and lake. Afternoon Boat Cruise on Lake Mburo In the afternoon, take a guided boat cruise on Lake Mburo. Spot hippos, crocodiles, and plenty of water birds including African fish eagles, pied kingfishers, and the rare African finfoot. Game Drive (Optional) After the boat trip, we continue with another game drive before sunset.

Early Morning Walking Safari Start your day with a guided walking safari in one of the tracks inside park—one of Lake Mburo’s unique experiences. Walk alongside giraffes, zebras, impalas, and learn about animal tracks, plants, and bird calls from a park ranger. Breakfast and Relaxation at the Lodge Return for breakfast and spend some time relaxing or taking in the views. Late Nature Walk (Optional) Depending on timing, you may go for another short nature walk near the Hotel before departing. Lunch En Route & Return to Kampala Enjoy lunch en route and continue your drive back to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the late afternoon.
