10-Day Kenya Wildlife Safari. Amboseli National Park – Aberdare National Park – Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara National Reserve and Lake Naivasha

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be welcomed by our safari guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax or enjoy an optional visit to local attractions.

After breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive south to Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Search for elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species that inhabit the park. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, spend the day exploring Amboseli's diverse landscapes of open plains, swamps, and acacia woodlands. Enjoy excellent wildlife viewing opportunities and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. A picnic lunch will be served in the park before continuing your game drive in search of more wildlife. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and travel through Kenya's scenic countryside towards Aberdare National Park. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Aberdare ecosystem, known for its dense forests, waterfalls, and wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, giant forest hogs, bushbucks, and numerous bird species. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast, depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy on the Laikipia Plateau. The Journey typically takes about 1.5 to 2.5 hours, making it a quick and seamless transition between the lush highlands and the open savanna. The route also takes you directly across the Equator line, and your driver will stop at the marked equator crossing points along the highway for photos. Arrive in time for lunch and check into your lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through the conservancy and visit the northern white rhino sanctuary, home to the world's last remaining northern white rhinos. You may also encounter black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Accommodation: Safari Lodge/Camp

After breakfast, you begin with an early morning game drive in the conservancy to enjoy the sightings of the inhabitants of the area in the cool hours of the day. After the game drive, you will exit Ol Pejeta and head toward Nyeri, then drive northwest through Nyahururu (where you can stop to view Thompson's Falls) before descending into Nakuru. The journey typically takes about 3.5 to 4.5 hours. It is a scenic route that transitions from central Kenya's arid plains to the lush, bird-rich Rift Valley lakes. Enjoy your picnic lunch en route before proceeding to the lodge in Lake National Park and arriving in late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Start your game drive early (around 07:00 AM) to catch active predators and maximize viewing before the sun gets too hot. Your guide will focus the drive along the lakeshore to spot flocks of flamingos, and head into the acacia woodlands to track the endangered white and black rhinos. You will also spot Rothschild's giraffes, leopards, and lions. Game drives typically last until about 10:30 AM or 11:00 AM, then you exit Lake Nakuru National Park with your packed lunch and head towards Maasai Mara. You will break the journey shortly to enjoy your packed lunch and then, after continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast at 06:00 AM, you enter the park gates just as the sun rises. This is prime time to watch predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards while they are still active and hunting. 09:00 AM – Mid-Morning Exploration: The landscape opens up as the sun warms the savannah. You will track large herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and zebras. Depending on the season, you may witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration and dramatic Mara River crossings 01:00 PM – Picnic Lunch by the Mara River: Most full-day itineraries include a packed picnic lunch. Your guide will pick a safe, scenic spot under an Acacia tree or overlooking the Mara River to watch wallowing hippos and Nile crocodiles. 02:30 PM- You continue navigating the vast plains, searching for rarer species like the Black Rhino or trailing migrating herds. 04:00 PM – Golden Hour & Return: As the afternoon heat fades, animal activity picks up again. You will slowly loop back toward your camp or the main gates, capturing photos in the golden evening light.

After an early breakfast, check out and begin your journey to Lake Naivasha. This journey often serves as a "decompression" leg , allowing you to enjoy a boat safari, view hippos, and take walking tours on Crescent Island. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. After enjoying your lunch, take a guided motorized boat tour on the lake to view large pods of hippos lazily soaking in the shallows. It’s also an incredible experience for bird watchers, with over 300 bird species including African fish eagles, pelicans, and kingfishers. The boat will stop at the Crescent Island Sanctuary for a nature walk. Because there are no fences, this private reserve allows you to take a peaceful walking safari directly among giraffes, wildebeests, gazelles, and waterbucks.

Wake up early to catch cooler morning temperatures and avoid the midday sun. Cycle through dramatic landscapes featuring towering cliffs and gorges—famous for inspiring The Lion King. Hell's Gate is one of the few National Parks where you can safely ride or walk right past wild herds of zebras, giraffes, gazelles, and warthogs without a safari vehicle, since there are no large predators. Thereafter, return to your lodge for breakfast and check out for Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi for lunch and drive to the Airport depending on your departure time.
