This tour offers a combination of wildlife exploration, cultural experiences, and relaxation.
You will have the opportunity to explore the breathtaking landscapes and immerse yourself
in Uganda's local cultures, experiencing Africa's true diversity. Uganda is home to the largest
population of endangered mountain gorillas and Kibale Forest, where you can trek to see
chimpanzees. There are also other activities available that will make your adventure truly
memorable.

Itinerary

Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, there will be a routine clearance process.
Once through, you will meet our company's professional tour driver-guide who will receive
and brief you on your 10-day experiential safari in Uganda– the Pearl of Africa. After that,
you will transfer to the booked accommodation. You will check in and rest to recover from jet
lag and adjust to the time difference.
You will have a relaxed breakfast at about 7 am and then embark on a journey to Kibale
Forest National Park. The park is popular for its primates such as chimpanzees, black and
white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys, and Grey Cheeked
Mangabeys. Upon reaching Kibale, you will have lunch at the booked accommodation, relax,
and settle in after your journey.
Later, after some rest, you will set out to explore the beautiful Crater lakes of Kibale if you
love scenery, primates, and bird sightings. You will enjoy a guided hike to the scenic lakes,
each offering stunning views and opportunities for birdwatching.
In the early morning, after breakfast, you will head out to the briefing center where you will
receive important information about the do's and don'ts of chimpanzee trekking. Then, you
will embark on a chimpanzee trekking expedition in Kibale Forest with an experienced
ranger guide. The forest is home to a variety of primates that will surely amaze you. Once
you find the chimpanzees, you will have an entire hour to observe them in their natural
habitat.
Besides chimpanzees, you will encounter other primate species such as black and white
colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys, and Grey Cheeked Mangabeys
as well as a variety of bird species.
After lunch, you will go on an excursion to Bigodi Wetlands, known for its diverse ecosystem
including primates and birds. Following the excursion, you will return to your accommodation
to rest.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your accommodation and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth
National Park. You will arrive at Queen Elizabeth NP early enough to relax and have lunch.
In the afternoon, go for a game drive. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as reedbuck,
bushbuck, kob, warthog, elephants, lions, and buffaloes, among others.
Alternatively, you can opt for the breathtaking explosion crater drive. This is a sightseeing
drive offering spectacular views of the magnificent scenery in and around Queen Elizabeth
NP. You may also spot some wildlife along the drive, with Cape buffaloes and elephants
being the most frequently seen. Return to the hotel for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight
stay.

After your breakfast, get ready for an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National
Park. You'll explore the vast savanna plains of Kasenyi and look for iconic wildlife such as
Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Side-striped jackal, Serval cats, African civets and
more. Your guide will help you spot wildlife and provide information about the park.
After the game drive, return to your accommodation for some rest and lunch. Following
lunch, enjoy a 2-hour boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects
Lakes George and Edward. During the trip, you'll witness wildlife sightings, including giant
hippos, elephants, and crocodiles, along with a variety of birds along the water shores. If
you're still interested, you can take another game drive to capture the last moments of the
wildlife you've been longing to see.
Finish the day with dinner and an overnight stay at your accommodation.

After enjoying a relaxed breakfast, you will embark on a scenic journey to the Ishasha sector
of Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is famous for its resident tree-climbing lions.
Although the chance of spotting these lions is about 70%, they can be difficult to spot,
especially when they are down in the grassland searching for prey. If you do get the chance
to spot them, the sight will be spectacular!
From Ishasha, you will proceed to accommodation near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Upon arrival, you will have a less to do and will simply need to check in to your
accommodation and relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the
following day.

Don't forget to enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a
briefing. At the headquarters, a ranger guide will provide you with important information
about the rules and regulations of the gorilla trekking experience. After the briefing, you will
embark on an exciting trek through the dense forest of Bwindi. The rainforest is absolutely

stunning, with its dramatic, steeply forested landscape and dense vegetation crisscrossed by
animal trails that are open to tourists.
The time it takes to trek and the terrain you'll encounter will vary depending on the
movements of the gorillas. Once a gorilla group has been located, you will have an
unforgettable opportunity to spend an hour in their presence, observing these gentle yet
endangered giants.
After the trek, head back to your accommodation, check out, and then transfer to Kisoro,
which is close to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Spend the night at Travelers Inn.

Start the day early by having breakfast and then driving to the park headquarters. At the park
headquarters, you will receive a briefing from a ranger-guide on the do's and don’ts for the
Golden Monkey trekking.
After the briefing, you will venture into the Mgahinga Forest for the Golden Monkey trek with
a knowledgeable guide. These creatures are known for being playful and curious, making for
a unique wildlife experience. You will have the opportunity to observe and photograph them
as they go about their activities in the forest. Besides Golden monkeys, Mgahinga boasts
over 76 mammals which include elephants, giant forest hogs, bush pigs, and bush back, as
well as over 180 bird species including the 14 endemic Albertine rift notably the Kivu ground
thrush and turaco. Following the Golden Monkey trek, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for
relaxation and an overnight stay. Lake Bunyonyi is a beautiful lake known for its stunning
scenery and tranquil atmosphere.

After your relaxed breakfast, you will embark on a thrilling boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi to
explore its iconic islands, including the most famous one, "Punishment Island," and gain a
deeper understanding of its historical significance.
Following the boat cruise, you will transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, which is about a 2-
hour journey. Upon arrival at Lake Mburo, you will have lunch at your accommodation and
then have the afternoon and evening to relax. At 6:30 pm, you will head out for the
breathtaking Mburo night game drive. During the game drive, you can expect to see
nocturnal creatures such as civets, hyenas, owls, and the elusive leopards, among others.

After having breakfast, together with an armed ranger, you will go on an early nature walk in
Lake Mburo National Park. This walk provides a great opportunity to connect with nature and
observe wildlife up close. You will have a wonderful time exploring the wonders of Lake
Mburo National Park.
After the nature walk, you will return to the accommodation for check out and begin the
journey back to Entebbe Airport for your departure. Don’t forget to stop at the Uganda
Equator line for some memorable photos. Your driver/guide will then drop you off at Entebbe
Airport.
