Itinerary

On this remarkable day, you will wake up to a delicious morning breakfast as your
safari guide is already set to drive you to your next destination indicated in the
itinerary. In 2 hours you are at the hotel in Uganda! Check in for lunch and perhaps
relax along the lakeside, alternatively, you can engage in a majestic boat ride under
a breathtaking Sunset that will spur your cruising experience. The ride continues its

way to one of the intact Africa cultures the “Batwa Pygmies” which will give you a
true feeling of the African experience.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park is a rewarding experience that
takes you through the thick impenetrable forest in search of gorillas. The experience
of hiking through the forest is rewarding even before you see the gorillas.
This morning after an early breakfast together with a packed lunch, your driver guide
will transfer you to the starting point where you will receive a briefing from the park
ranger guide on how to prepare for the gorilla trek. Your ranger guide will lead the
way in the forest first on well-cleared paths but soon you get off to the bushes and
thickets. Soon you will be in sight of the amazing primates.
B, L & D

After your breakfast your driver guide will pick you and you start the journey to
Queen Elizabeth national park – the most famous park in Uganda.
The drive will take you through Ishasha – the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth
national park. It is famous with the tree climbing lions which are said to climb fig
trees after their meals to rest, experience the winds but to also easily watch their
prey because of the high savanna grass. There are many theories as to why they
climb the trees, you will learn more from your tour guide as you do game drive.

Along the lions, there are other animals like Elephants, Buffaloes, Kobs, Topi,
waterbucks and several bird species

B, L & D

Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to numerous flora and fauna. The great
scenery of ridges, forests, and crater lakes with the Rwenzori Mountains in the
background makes for a great game drive.
The numerous wildlife provides great opportunities for game viewing in the morning
when the predators are looking out for prey and before they go back into hiding. You
will start early morning using a car that allows the roof to top up so the opportunities
to watch the game are maximized. Enjoy the exotic and rare species
which include Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, etc.
Main Activity: Game drive

In the afternoon enjoy a launch cruise on Kazinga Channel – towards Lake
Edward where you will watch different wild animals that come to its waters and those
that live therein and numerous species of birds.

After when you have seen most of the appealing wildlife during the previous activities
such as game drive, boat cruise, and Gorilla experience, you will now set off heading
to Kibale Forest National Park for a new adventure; Chimpanzee trekking. Arrive at
the Hotel in the evening and check in for dinner and overnight.
B&B: Kibale Forest Lodge

After an early breakfast, you will head for a briefing from the Kibale National Park offices
about the rules and requirements while tracking chimpanzees. After the briefing, you will be
given walking sticks and led into the forest to find the primates. Chimpanzee trekking in
Kibale National Park takes between 2 to 5 hours. It is a different experience from gorilla
trekking because chimps are more vocal and prefer spending most of their time on top of
trees. They are also more mobile and might require you to follow them for a long time
before they settle down to allow good photography. Thereafter you will return to your hotel

for lunch and rest.

Later in the evening, you will go for a walk around the Bigodi swamp walk to spot
other primates and several species of birds.

Today after breakfast, you will transfer to Kampala and proceed to Entebbe
international airport for your flight back home. You will have a stopover for lunch at
the Equator monument.
