Description
The tour gives a deeper understanding of Murchison Falls National Park. The park derives
its name from Murchison Falls also known as the "Devil's Cauldron" which is one of the most
powerful waterfalls in the world, the sights and sounds of the water crashing down over the
rocks are truly thrilling. The park also enjoys Africa's "Big Five"! The real adventure starts at
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking where you will spend an hour with the endemic
white Rhinos learning their behaviors.
Itinerary
We’ll pick you up from Entebbe International Airport and drive to Murchison Falls National
Park, along your way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking.
Upon your arrival at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, you will meet with trained guides and rangers
who will brief you about the rules for the Rhino trekking experience and later begin the trek
through the sanctuary accompanied by experienced rangers.
The trekking experience normally takes 1-2 hours during which you will have the opportunity
to observe the rhinos in their natural habitat, learn about their behavior, and take photos.
Later you will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park.
Park, along your way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking.

You'll have an early morning drive to the park such that you catch sight of the park's
predators such as lions and leopards. Murchison Falls enjoys a wide range of wildlife
species including Hyenas and jackals as well herds of African cape buffaloes, African
Elephants, Uganda kobs, Jackson hartebeests, and oribis.
Then after you will return to the Lodge for a lunch break and rest while waiting for an
afternoon boat cruise.
In the afternoon you will embark on the boat cruise on the Nile River, the boat normally takes
2 hours where you will see Hippos, crocodiles as well as other regular visitors that come to
quench their thirst on the River and a variety of bird species. Thereafter, you will continue to
the base of the falls where you will take an experiential hike to the top of the falls for a
breathtaking view of the Nile River and witness the powerful falls up close.

of souvenir shopping then head to Entebbe and go to the Airport depending on your
